I just wanted to share this amazing picnic set I saw at my local Salvation Army thrift store today. I wanted to buy it on the spot! look at it! But alas it's $140 price tag puts it outside my thrifting budget. I wonder who it belonged to, and if they used it? If only I didn't have to feed my children or pay the mortgage I could be having picnics with this great set ( it wouldn't be a fun picnic without my children though).

  1. wow! it is utterly delightful! What a shame it was so much money. But you're right - it wouldn't have been as fun to picnic without the children

  2. What an incredible find. It does sort of lend itself to a story, doesn't it? I wonder too who they were who had such great picnics. Thanks for sharing this.

  3. I found a similar one for my mom for Christmas several years ago($50 was still pricey to me!) and it too was fork and spoonless. I think that tells us that they were used! Beautiful set!
