drawstring bags from vintage sheets

I LOVE the look of vintage sheets! So soft and pretty! I have the habit of buying them without purpose until I finally came up with an idea..........

Little drawstring bags! I used the tutorial from Skip to My Lou to learn how to make the bags, being a beginner with the machine I find these super easy to make. Now I use them to wrap up my sales from my etsy shop!

  1. your's is so cute! i've made these as well, lisa. so simple and easy! also, pillocases can be made into all sorts of things, but along this line, they make great backpacks. i think there is a good tutorial on kootoyoo.

  2. I just love drawstring bags--unfortunately, I don't have great luck finding vintage sheets as pretty as yours! Thank you so for sharing.

  3. I love this. I make tons of little bags from sheets and bigger ones from pillow cases.....(also make pjs from the sheets).... good to keep gathered kids toys and things. I put hooks in their room and tons of bags hang.
